Responsibilities:

• Teach, coach, instruct, and have the ability to demonstrate baseball skills and positive values, in accordance to the camp curriculum and as an extension of the RoughRiders
• Model and display the utmost professionalism in appearance, customer service, and coaching behavior
• Must be capable for throwing live batting practice, or squatting in a catcher’s stance, for up to 30 minutes at a time with intermittent breaks
• Supervise and motivate youth of all ages, as well as evaluate campers’ baseball skills and provide constructive feedback for improvement
• Assist the on-site camp director with special appearances, camp setup and registration, customer service, officiating, or any other assigned duties
• Conduct 1-on-1 instruction, assist with new ideas for camps and clinics, as well as, help plan an agenda for camps

Requirements
Qualifications:

• Must have baseball experience of either played baseball at or above the high school level, or be a coach at or above the high school level
• Must have strong leadership skills
• Must have strong communication skills
• All coaches must exhibit good judgment and maintain appropriate behavior with clientele
• Must submit and pass a background check and drug screening
• Have the ability to work outside for extended periods of time

What you will be doing:

As a Corporate Marketing Manager your main responsibility will be selling tickets. That's priority numbers 1, 2 and 3. You'll do this by meeting with high level executives, networking, cold calling and building a referral base to drive revenue. You'll also be responsible for servicing clients and helping to hit team goals.

Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): 

  • Responsible for, but not limited to, renewal and new season ticket sales, individual and packaged suites/hospitality, and group events to both corporations and the general public with an emphasis on maximizing revenue
  • Meet and exceed established weekly, monthly and annual sales goals
  • Implement and demonstrate outbound sales efforts by using sales and service best practices, prospecting, networking, lead generation, referral gathering, data capture and personal database management
  • Generate a pre-determined minimum number of weekly out of office as well as in ballpark “face-to-face” meetings to create new business opportunities
  • Provide a superior level of customer service to all suite clients, season ticket holders, plan holders, single game buyers, new business prospects and fans alike
  • Continually create and implement unique sales strategies, ideas and programs as a means of producing new business opportunities
  • Contribute positively to the sales team culture by developing mutually beneficial working relationships with all team members
  • Participate and contribute to daily or weekly sales team meetings and training sessions
  • Model and reinforce the RoughRiders "expectations" of positivity, work ethic, professionalism, respect and being the best you can be

What you will be doing:

The Data & Analytics Coordinator for the Frisco RoughRiders will be responsible for the successful planning, development, testing, and rollout of business intelligence projects, reports, and dashboards.  This person will bring all database sources together to create statistical models that will provide leadership with direction, recommendations, and trends.  This person will search for new analytical tools that will better the organization and simplify processes.

Duties:

·         Identify and  assist in the designing of solutions that meet short and long term goals of the business

·         Ability to create predictive models based upon multiple data sources, including, but not limited to, behavioral, preferential, and demographic information

·         Identify trends and buying patterns for ticket purchasers as it relates to ticket package development and ticket related marking trends

·         Process historical sales and attendance data to identify trends and compile informative reporting

·         Assist with lead generation, lead scoring, and evaluation of sales and marketing campaigns

·         Manage campaign development and related reporting follow-up

·         Assist with building and evaluating email marketing campaigns

·         Create and maintain a strategy for survey development and implementation

·         Oversee the CRM to maintain and support CRM system and all end-users

·         Develop CRM user training and adoption sessions

·         Participate in the development of standards, best practices, processes and procedures, and automation of tasks to improve the effectiveness of the data interfaces

·         Research new technology and methods for data management

·         Stay up to date on industry trends and standards of business intelligence practices to inform department managers

·         Work with various departments to define requirements and gather data to solve business needs

·         Prepare reports, dashboards, and executive summaries

·         Automate manual processes effectively creating efficiency within the organization

·         Maintain integrity of Riders historical data.

Qualifications:

·         College degree preferred

·         Internship or 1 year of  data/analytics experience

·         Strong work ethic, organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required

·         Ability to process data, identify trends, and present findings in an organized manner

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Must be able to multi-task and enjoy working in a team environment

As the Inside Sales Manager your main responsibility will be driving ticket revenue. In addition to driving a department of 4-7 Inside Sales Coordinator, this is a selling position that will work with our highest level client pool.

  • Inside Sales Management
    • Manage the daily activities and responsibilities for 4-7 Inside Sales Coordinators
    • Recruit, hire, train and develop staff with the focus of driving revenues
    • Lead, motivate, develop, and retain Inside Sales staff for future succession and opportunity within the organization
    • Develop and implement department business plan, training strategy, scripts, policies and procedures;
    • Collaborate with other managers to develop strategic call campaigns, new sales packages and opportunities for new sales;

Facility Operations/Security: Event Guest Relations
Seasonal Part-Time Game Day Staff - Frisco RoughRiders (Frisco, TX)

Come join the RoughRiders Game Day staff for the 2017 season! We have a variety of positions open and are looking for fun, charismatic staff to fill them. Job descriptions are listed below.

Ushers  

Ushers are responsible for developing a friendly relationship with the customers in their section. Ushers should check the location on the customer’s ticket and escort them to their seats or direct them to another section.  Ushers must also familiarize themselves with all customer service operations so they may guide our customers to their particular need.                                         

Ticket Takers

The Ticket Takers will greet each customer that comes through the gates at the ballpark. The ticket takers will scan tickets and direct customers toward the appropriate section.

Ballpark Watch

 The Ballpark Watch staff is the security personnel for Dr Pepper Ballpark.  Ballpark Watch staff will be stationed at gates and are responsible for doing bag checks, and making sure that all items entering the ballpark are allowed in. Ballpark Watch is also responsible for making sure that our fans are complying with all ballpark policies within the entire facility.

Box Office Ticket Seller

Box Office Ticket Sellers are responsible for being the Point of Sale for our customers.  Ticket sellers will be provided the necessary training in order to use our current ticketing system to sell tickets on game days as well as non game days.  During games you will be responsible not only for selling tickets to customers, but be asked to handle Will Call Tickets as well as Exchanges and or Voucher Redemption.  There will be other Box Office duties that will need to be fulfilled on a game by game basis assigned by the Ticket Operation Managers if need be.

Riders Outpost Team Store Sales Associates

Essential Job Duties:
• Greets and acknowledges guests.
• Answers guests’ questions and assists them whenever possible.
• Recommends, selects and helps locate or obtain merchandise for guests.
• Processes sale with appropriate point of sale system, accepts payment, counts change and bags merchandise.
• Follows all register procedures and handles cash accordingly.
• Exchanges merchandise for guests and processes returns, with approval of supervisor
• Ensures that all merchandise is correctly labeled and displayed.
• Routinely stocks merchandise and faces items on shelves.
• Maintains a clean and organized store or stand.
• Sets aside and notifies supervisor of defective, mismarked, mislabeled, incorrectly priced, shopworn or damaged merchandise.
• Watches for and recognizes security risks and thefts and reports to security and management.
• Performs other duties as assigned 

*Please Note: Even if hired for one position, you may occasionally be required to work another position during a game. For example, someone hired as a Ballpark Watch may be asked to fill in as a Ticket Taker.

The Frisco RoughRiders play at beautiful Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco. The franchise has led Double-A baseball in attendance for each of the past 11 seasons, and under new ownership and leadership for the 2015 season welcomed the three-largest and 7 of the top 9 crowds in team history. The RoughRiders also completely overhauled the game entertainment experience at Dr Pepper Ballpark prior to the 2015 season, installing a massive 2,700 square foot Daktronics HD video board, new outfield wall LED display boards, state-of-the-art control room and a newly-designed sound system. After unveiling new logos, team colors and uniforms before the 2015 season, the RoughRiders became one of the biggest merchandise sellers in all of Minor League Baseball.
